چکیده
Background: Unexplained variations of the decay rate parameter for weak interaction decays such as ${\ensuremath{\beta}}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}$ decay, electron capture, well strong $\ensuremath{\alpha}$ have been reported. Because these presented by a number groups, at various locations, using types detectors, different isotopes, and over extended periods time, some researchers interpreted source not from ambient environmental factors temperature, pressure, humidity but via an unexplained fundamental interaction.Purpose: The state experiments is reviewed, reported results are placed into common comparable context defining phenomenological cross section. Then we make measurements function time level ${10}^{\ensuremath{-}5}$ in presences antineutrino flux with on-off cycle $\ensuremath{\approx}$30 days. This precision requires detailed understanding both systematic statistical errors; otherwise, errors measurement may mimic events interactions. Methods: experiment searched variation $_{25}^{54}\mathrm{Mn}$, ${e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ capture $_{55}^{137}\mathrm{Cs}$, ${\ensuremath{\beta}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ to 1 part $\ensuremath{\approx}{10}^{5}$ comparing difference between presence $\ensuremath{\approx}3\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{12}$ $\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}$ ${\mathrm{cm}}^{\ensuremath{-}2}$ ${\mathrm{s}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ no measurements. was located 6.53 m reactor core High Flux Isotope Reactor Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Two decays, one other were selected because final reverse each contain neutrino antineutrino, covering arguments that interact differently or all cases. Results: $\ensuremath{\gamma}$ spectra collected analyzed independently. measured parameters found be $\ensuremath{\delta}\ensuremath{\lambda}/\ensuremath{\lambda}=(0.034\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}1.38)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}5}$ $_{25}^{54}\mathrm{Mn}$ $\ensuremath{\delta}\ensuremath{\lambda}/\ensuremath{\lambda}=(0.67\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}1.56)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}5}$ $_{55}^{137}\mathrm{Cs}$. These consistent measurable due flux, yielding $68%$ confidence upper limit sensitivity $\ensuremath{\delta}\ensuremath{\lambda}/\ensuremath{\lambda}\ensuremath{\le}1.31\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}5}$ $\ensuremath{\sigma}\ensuremath{\le}1.29\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}25}$ ${\mathrm{cm}}^{2}$ section $_{55}^{137}\mathrm{Cs}$ $\ensuremath{\delta}\ensuremath{\lambda}/\ensuremath{\lambda}\ensuremath{\le}2.23\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}5}$ $\ensuremath{\sigma}\ensuremath{\le}5.69\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}27}$ ${\mathrm{cm}}^{2}$.Conclusions: cross-section obtained null observable effect $\ensuremath{\approx}{10}^{4}$ times more sensitive than past reporting positive $^{54}\mathrm{Mn}$ $^{137}\mathrm{Cs}$.

Inverse Beta Decay in a Nonequilibrium Antineutrino Flux from a Nuclear Reactor
The flux and the spectrum of reactor antineutrinos depend not only on the current reactor state, which is specified by the power level and the isotope composition of the nuclear fuel used, but also on the preceding evolution of the fuel. The spectrum of antineutrinos produced in the beta decay of fission products and other radioactive nuclei accumulated in the reactor core begin to evolve towar...
متن کاملTerrestrial Antineutrino Flux Measurements
Electron antineutrinos accompanying the β-decays of long-lived isotopes of uranium, thorium, and potassium in the earth carry information about the quantity and distribution of these geologically important, heat-producing isotopes. This letter discusses terrestrial antineutrino flux measurements at both a continental and an oceanic site. A combined analysis of both measurements provides informa...
متن کاملProposal for an electron antineutrino disappearance search using high-rate 8Li production and decay.
This paper introduces an experimental probe of the sterile neutrino with a novel, high-intensity source of electron antineutrinos from the production and subsequent decay of 8Li. When paired with an existing ∼1 kton scintillator-based detector, this = 6.4 MeV source opens a wide range of possible searches for beyond standard model physics via studies of the inverse beta decay interaction...
متن کاملInverse beta decay reaction in 232 Th and 233 U fission antineutrino flux
Energy spectra of antineutrinos coming from 232Th and 233U neutroninduced fission are calculated, relevant inverse beta decay ν̄e + p → n+e+ positron spectra and total cross sections are found. This study is stimulated by a hypothesis that a self-sustained nuclear chain reaction is burning at the center of the Earth (“Georeactor”). The Georeactor, according to the authors of this idea, provides ...
متن کاملEnergy Release Due to Antineutrino Untrapping from Hot Quark Stars
An equation of state for 2-flavor quark matter (QM) with diquark condensation under the conditions for compact stars -β-equilibrium, charge and color neutralityis presented. Trapped antineutrinos prevent the formation of the diquark condensate at moderate densities above a critical value of the antineutrino chemical potential μcν̄e . The following consequences are presented: 1) The star develops...
